baudelagon Faut-il voir cet album comme un EP au regard de sa relative brièveté : 6 titres + 2 versions alternatives de morceaux plus anciens ? En tout cas, je trouve cet album décevant quand on le compare aux grandes réussites qui le précèdent. Moins d'inspiration, moins d'originalité... ou bien un retour au brutal death des débuts peut-être ? Malheureusement pour moi, ce n'est pas la tendance qui me plait le plus chez ce groupe... et ce sont encore les 2 remixes qui m'intéressent le plus.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
